"...Dawn pushed herself off the ground with her staff and shambled over. 'If you want to catch bigger fish, you need a lure,' she said. She whispered something at the crystal on her staff and it lit up. Carefully, slowly so as not to disturb the fish, she slid the brilliant crystal into the water. A few of the gold ones stopped to admire the light. They gathered around it like moths to a lantern. 'Even the little fishes are drawn to Lumina’s Light.'
"Zeek’s paw hovered over the water. 'Well, I can catch more of them, at least.'
" 'Patience, friend,' Dawn said. Zeek’s paw sagged but he didn’t put it all the way down. 'What do bigger fish eat?'
" 'Worms? Waterscorpions? Algae?'
"Dawn gave him a knowing smile, but didn’t answer..."
